CSC in India, actively engages with many academic institutes in India from both management and technical streams to ensure that the academia is in sync with the emerging needs of the industry. As a part of this program, CSC in India promotes the following programs:

  • Seminars & Workshops for Faculty Development: CSC believes that a trained faculty can help bridge the gap between the requirements of the IT industry and the skill sets brought to the table by the graduating students. CSC works with academia and sponsors sabbaticals for faculty interested in bridging this gap.

  • Promotion of CSC Innovation Centers: CSC has chalked out certain areas in technology and business with long-term plans for development. CSC would be keen to discuss specific areas with interested institutes and organisations who want our help to set up centers of Innovation, Knowledge and Excellence.

  • CSC Guest Faculty: CSC’s senior management has extensive knowledge that helps in empowering the IT strategy and businesses of our clients globally. CSC’s management frequently offer their time and availability to share insights and also provide programs of interest to academic institutes.


    • CSC in India, is an active member of NASSCOM's IT Workforce Development task force and promotes all these activities through NASSCOM as well. CSC already has relationships established with many institutes and would be keen to assist many more. If you are interested in any of the programs, do contact us.

    Towards its efforts to bridge the industry-academia gap, CSC India has introduced a unique collaborative open innovation network (COIN) program called “Pragyan” in February 2007. Pragyan will go beyond industry project-based collaboration, creating an ecosystem that will include mentoring of students, collecting and aggregating ideas for the introduction of technology-enabled services and working on government-sponsored programs.
