After the Covansys acquisition, announced last year, we are now fully functional as a single business unit. CSC also completed the acquisition of First Consulting Group (FCG) after which approximately 2,500 FCG employees are expected to transition to CSC. Combining the respective strengths of the two organizations accelerates our healthcare business plan and is a significant step towards the goal of transforming healthcare through information technology use.
This issue covers an exclusive interview of Krishnaswamy Subrahmaniam, head of Global Operations, CSC India on what diversity personally means to him and the approach he follows to implement a diverse workforce within the organization. CSC India has entered an important phase of growth through our new strategic initiative, which aims at supporting CSC’s go-to-market strategy for providing Infrastructure and Application services. This year, once again, CSC marked its presence across some of the most important events like NASSCOM Leadership Summit 2007, Global Conference of Actuaries (GCA) and Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) Project Management Leadership Conference 2007, showing our continued interest to improve the brand value.
