With several chat windows flashing my monitor, six geographical zones as my area of work, an EMEA shift and daily visits of priority one/two, I often wonder what makes me still come to office with so much of vim and vigor. Daily alert mails to avoid missing SLAs, ping-pong over tickets and heated discussions with the revolver groups make me brainstorm every billable hour at CSC. I take pride when onsite engineers rely on me for my out-of-the-box thinking and bi-lingual skills in English and French, which facilitates two-way communication. Mandatory trainings for individual development plan, fully funded certifications and prospects of internal movement make CSC not only the best employer but also the best educator as compared to other IT bigwigs. A caring brigade of Human Resource (HR) team makes an enormous difference to organisational performance through initiatives like 360-degree feedback, reward and recognitions program, diversity initiative and employee assistance programs like SPARSH.
