CSC Ranks No. 11 in NASSCOM TOP 20 IT Software and Service Exporters List FY 07-08

On July 9, NASSCOM, the premier trade body and 'voice' of the Indian IT-BPO industry, released the FY08 Revenue Performance and FY09 Forecast for the Indian IT Software and Services Sectors. CSC in India ranked No 11 in NASSCOM TOP 20 IT software and service exporters list FY 07-08.

The key pointers of the NASSCOM report are:

• FY07-08 performance reflects sustained growth of 28% (currency adjusted), clocking revenues of USD 52 billion in FY07-08 up from USD 39.6 billion in FY06-07


• FY08-09 outlook strong with software and services revenue to grow by 21-24% (currency adjusted); Software and Services Exports forecast to reach USD 50 billion

As per NASSCOM, this year, there has been a slow growth of IT exports due to US slowdown, however the revenues have gone up from $40.40 bn as compared to $31.40bn.
