CSC Elects Judith R. Haberkorn to Board of Directors


EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 12 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Judith R. Haberkorn has been elected to the company’s board of directors effective Nov. 1, 2007.

Haberkorn, 60, currently serves on the boards of Armstrong World Industries, where she is lead director, and ExpressJet Holdings Inc. She was also a director of MCI until its acquisition by Verizon in January 2006, and served as a director of Enesco Corporation from 1993 until its sale in early 2007. Prior to her retirement in June 2000, she was president of Consumer Sales & Service for Bell Atlantic.

Haberkorn began her career with AT&T and held increasingly senior management positions with New England Telephone and NYNEX before the latter merged with Bell Atlantic in 1997.

She received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Briarcliff College in New York and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. She is chair emerita of The Committee of 200 and was a 2005 recipient of Harvard Business School’s Alumni Achievement Award.
