CSC Wins $482 Million Air Force Contract to Provide Support Services at Vance Air Force Base
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has won a contract to provide technical support services for the U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Okla. CSC estimates the value of the contract, which has a six-month base period and six one-year options, to be $482 million if all options are exercised. This award follows a contract CSC signed with the Training Command in August 2000.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide aircraft maintenance and base operating services to support the mission-critical requirements of the 71st Flying Training Wing at Vance.

Vance is the U.S. Air Force's only joint specialized undergraduate pilot training base with the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and allied student pilots training in T-1, T-6 and T-38 aircraft.
