AVIVA EXTENDS APPLICATIONS OUTSOURCING CONTRACT WITH CSC

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 23 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Aviva Life Insurance Company has extended its applications outsourcing contract with CSC through 2008.

A client for more than 15 years, Aviva’s life insurance and annuities policies run on CSC’s VANTAGE-ONE and LIFE/70 administration software applications. Under the three-year extension, CSC will provide comprehensive management and production support for these systems, which will enable the company to continue to simplify information technology (IT) maintenance and quickly launch new products.
